Ms. Tobago Heritage 2020

As a home-grown financial services group, First Citizens has a strong reputation and brand association with supporting Culture and the Arts locally and regionally. It is therefore no surprise that the Group has maintained its position as the longest standing sponsor of the Tobago Heritage Festival by sponsoring the Ms. Heritage Personality show for the past 32 years.

Launched on the 22nd July 2020, the Tobago Heritage Festival has taken a virtual approach bringing the traditions and customs to its local and international audience via social media and television. The Ms. Heritage Personality show was pre-taped in a four part series with episode 1-3 being aired on 29th August, 5th September and 12th September 2020 @ 8.00 p.m. on TTT, Tobago Channel 5 and Tobago Festivals via Facebook and the finale being aired on 19th September 2020 on Tobago Channel 5 via Television and Facebook / Tobago Festivals via Facebook @ 8.00 p.m.  and TTT via Television and Facebook @ 8.35 p.m.

Miss Heritage Personality 2020 makes remarkable virtual transition

After decades of attracting hundreds of villagers at the island’s premier beauty and cultural pageant, organizers of the Miss Heritage Personality 2020, proved themselves up to the challenge of successfully hosting a virtual show.

With a combination of pre-packaged pageant segments televised and streamed on social media, the virtual, local and international audience, was not left wanting for the usual taste of Tobago’s traditions and customs nor the intrigue and creativity that the show has become known for.

At the finale on Saturday 19th September, 2020, the pageant themed “Tracing Legacies,” came to an exciting climax, as Karicia Morrison representing Delecia’s Dance Agency was crowned the winner.

First Citizens is proud to once again be a part of this successful alliance with the Tobago Festivals Commission, with whom the Group has been working for over two decades, to host the pageant.
