Girls First Festival – South

Girls First Festival 2 was officially launched on Sunday 19th May 2019 with approximately 300 teenaged girls in attendance at Naparima Boys’ College.  Six weeks later, the festival made its way to North/East Trinidad where another 380 girls, experienced an educational and fun-filled day at Trinity College East – Trincity.  Group CEO Karen Darbasie was present at both editions to warmly welcome the girls, who benefitted from a large group talk on self-esteem and a range of workshops on self-defence, makeup and skin-care, fashion and personal styling, health and wellness, and of course budgeting. Participants were also exposed to content from Educational Partners Cipriani College and SBCS as well as a range of other sponsors during the Expo and Career Fair. Girls First South and North both left the girls wanting more as Aza Fit sessions sponsored by Fay-Ann Lyons, brought them to an energetic close.
