First Citizens supports the next generation of creatives through E.V.O.L.V.E.
Press Release

First Citizens reinforced its commitment to youth development, education and cultural preservation through its sponsorship of Art By Creative Design’s (A.B.C.D.) E.V.O.L.V.E. – Junior Creatives Arts Festival 2026, held in San Fernando in October.
The initiative was designed to expose secondary school students to creative career pathways, artistic expression and opportunities for learning beyond the classroom. The Festival brought together students, educators and creative practitioners through its youth forum, art exhibition, educational booths and skills-building workshops.
At the October 22 Festival at Naparima College, First Citizens’ representatives facilitated a financial literacy booth, sharing resources and engaging students in conversations about responsible financial practices. The First Citizens Dragon Boys Tassa Band was also performed, bringing an expression of Trinidad and Tobago’s cultural heritage to the programme.
The programme continued on October 26 at the Southern Academy for the Performing Arts (SAPA), where the First Citizens Original Jab Jab participated as a guest facilitator for the J.C.S. Crick Crack Workshop, supporting experiential learning in traditional cultural expression.
Through this partnership, First Citizens sought to complement creative education with financial awareness and opportunities for young people to connect with the country’s living cultural traditions.
