First Citizens Young Men A.S.P.I.R.E thrills future game changers
Press Release

The energy in the room was electric as First Citizens Young Men A.S.P.I.R.E kicked off on Sunday, April 13 at Bishop Anstey High School East & Trinity College East in Trinidad, with resounding success.
Drawing three hundred young men aged 15-18, the day featured engaging discussions, hands-on workshops, and networking opportunities, with several leading local personalities including host, “Sunny Blingg,” and keynote speaker, Luke Quamina. Challenging attendees, Quamina unpacked the concept of re-defining manhood through authenticity and strength, sparking much food for thought with the teens. Over on the sister isle on Wednesday April 16, the experience at the Magdalena Grand Beach and Golf Resort was no less exciting, with speaker Quincy Trim continuing the rich discussions on manhood, with young men from across several of Tobago’s communities.
From interactive breakout sessions on financial literacy, mentorship, career planning, and personal growth, to engaging team-building activities and featured segments targeting a range of attendees’ interests, the events stimulated high-impact engagement and friendly competition.
Commenting on the event’s impact, Lead Game Changer and Group Deputy CEO – Business Generation, Jason Julien, stated “We heard the calls to make more initiatives such as these available to our young men and First Citizens delivered on changing the game. The enthusiasm of the participants across both events was phenomenal and their willingness to lead the change is inspiring.”
A.S.P.I.R.E – Advance, Succeed, Persevere, Innovate, Readiness, and Evolve, was a first-of-its-kind conference for young men by the First Citizens Group, designed to inspire, motivate and equip participants with essential tools for their personal and professional success. The novel event was a tremendous success thanks to the input of several industry experts, role models, and First Citizens executives, senior management, mentors and volunteers, who were on hand throughout the day, to connect and share insights with participants.
