First Citizens Celebrates its 2025 Neo Achievers

Press Release

First Citizens continues to champion youth empowerment through its annual Neo Education Awards, recognizing and rewarding the academic excellence of young customers across Trinidad and Tobago.

The Awards celebrate the accomplishments of students who are active nEo Account holders; a savings product designed specifically for customers from birth to age 25, geared towards the development of healthy savings habits from an early age.

This year’s ceremony honoured sixteen exemplary students for their remarkable achievements in national and regional examinations. Each recipient was awarded a cash prize, deposited directly to their nEo account according to their examination category.

Mr. Lyndon Balkran, Senior Manager – Market Development, Intelligence and Promotions (Ag.), commended the students for their achievements and reaffirmed the Bank’s long-standing commitment to investing in education and youth development. He noted that this year, the Retail Management Team expanded the programme, doubling the number of awardees from eight to sixteen. “At First Citizens, we believe that empowering our youth through recognition and reward helps build a stronger, more financially confident generation,” said Mr. Balkran.

Parents and awardees expressed their gratitude during the ceremony, which served as both a celebration and an inspiration for continued academic excellence.
