First Citizens Celebrates Excellence across the Group at Annual Staff Awards

On July 22, 2025, the First Citizens Group proudly brought its core values to life at the highly anticipated Group Staff Awards, held at the Hyatt Regency, Port of Spain. The event unfolded under the compelling theme, “EPIC Saga: A Celebration of Excellence,” honouring the exceptional individuals and teams whose achievements have contributed to the Group’s continued success through their unwavering embodiment of its values: Excellence, People, Integrity, and Customer Commitment.
As part of First Citizens’ ongoing commitment to an enhanced employee experience, the organisation continues to invest in its Reward and Recognition Programme—a strategic initiative designed to boost morale, retain top talent, foster innovation, and reinforce appreciation across all levels of the Group.
The annual awards spotlighted two key categories:
Team Awards – Recognising Branches and Units for their outstanding performance over the review period
Individual Awards – Honouring Employees and Managers for exceptional achievements and their demonstration of EPIC values and innovative contributions
