Paying your Credit Card via a First Citizens Branch
You can pay your First Citizens credit card at our tellers, at any of our conveniently located branches throughout Trinidad and Tobago.
Payments made using this service will be treated as stated below:
- Monday to Thursday: payments made by 3pm will be updated on the same night. If your payment is made after 3pm, then that payment will be updated on the night of the next working day.
- Friday: payments made by 4.15pm will be updated on the same night. If your payment is made after 4.15pm, then that payment will be updated on the night of the next working day.
- Weekends and Public Holidays: Payment will be updated on the night of the next working day.
Paying your Credit Card via Fast Deposit Boxes at First Citizens Branches
Fast Deposit boxes are available at all our conveniently located branches.
Simply provide all required information on the envelope provided by the Bank and deposit the envelope into the slot. That’s all there is to it!
Please note that payments will be updated on the night of the same or next working day after the payment was made.
Paying your Credit Card via a standing order from your First Citizens deposit account
A standing order can be set up from your First Citizens account, to make your monthly credit card payment on or before your payment due date.
The standing order can be set up for:
1. Your minimum payment – will be deducted only if there is an outstanding balance when your credit card statement is generated
2. Your full payment – will be deducted only if there is an outstanding balance when your credit card statement is generated
3. A fixed amount – the fixed amount should be more than your minimum payment and will be deducted whether or not an outstanding balance is owed when your credit card statement is generated.
Standing order payments are deducted once funds are available and no account restrictions apply.
Standing order payments to credit cards will update on the night of the next working day after the date of the standing order. This also applies to payments made on weekends and public holidays.

Paying your Credit Card via a standing order from other local banks
In the event that you wish to pay your First Citizens credit card from an account at another local Bank, you can arrange to have a payment sent to the First Citizens credit card, so that payment is made on or before the payment due date.
You would need to consider the number of days that the other Bank requires to process the standing order to allow for the payment to be made to your First Citizens credit card account on time ie. before the payment due date.
