Terms and Conditions: First Citizens Portfolio Optimization Campaign
Eligibility: This email marketing campaign is open to First Citizens cardholders and residents of Trinidad & Tobago. Employees of First Citizens are not eligible to participate.
Campaign Duration: The campaign will run from December 19th 2023 to February 13th 2024.
Campaign Mechanics: This campaign is a drawing-based competition. All participants meeting the drawing entry threshold, will automatically enter a random drawing for the chance to win a US $500 Gift Card. The thresholds were established according to different segmented groups based on spending historical data from January 2022 to November 2023. The threshold was informed in the communication piece the cardholder received or will receive through mailing communications.
To enhance your opportunity to win the US $500 Gift Card, participants may earn additional entries into the drawing by repeating the designated ‘drawing entry threshold behavior’ informed in the email communication pieces. Each completed instance of this behavior entitles you to an extra entry, increasing your chances of winning.
Participation: Participation in the campaign requires recipients to meet eligibility criteria and have received an email outlining the campaign mechanics from First Citizens. The mechanics are detailed in the email through embedded text information. Participants may enter multiple times by reaching the spending goal specified in the communication. Each goal completion earns participants one entry into a draw where they have the chance to win a digital gift card. The gift card amount will be specified in the email communication. The draw will take place on February 27th 2024.
Digital Gift Cards: Digital gift cards are issued by Mastercard on behalf of First Citizens. They are non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and cannot be redeemed for cash. First Citizens reserves the right to cancel or change the value of digital gift cards without prior notice.
Redemption: Recipients can redeem digital gift cards by following the instructions provided in the email. The digital gift card value is only applicable for the specified products or services mentioned in the email.
Expiration: Digital gift cards are only valid until July 30th 2024. After this date, the digital gift card will no longer be valid.
Fraudulent Activities: Any attempt to manipulate or abuse the campaign, including but not limited to multiple entries or fraudulent claims, will result in disqualification.
Data Privacy: By participating in this campaign, recipients agree to the use of their personal information for email marketing purposes. First Citizens will adhere to all applicable data privacy laws and regulations.
Liability: First Citizens is not responsible for any loss, theft, or unauthorized use of digital gift cards. Recipients use the digital gift cards at their own risk.
Campaign Modifications: First Citizens reserves the right to modify, cancel, or suspend the campaign without prior notice. Any changes will be communicated via email.
Disclaimer: First Citizens makes no warranties, express or implied, with respect to the digital gift cards, and disclaims any warranty to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Governing Law: These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Trinidad & Tobago. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Trinidad and Tobago.
